IBEX (Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange) was established in January 2014 and holds a license issued by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) to organize a Power Exchange for electricity in Bulgaria. As a market operator for Bulgaria, IBEX works to develop liquid Day-Ahead, Intraday and bilateral contracts energy markets.
