We provide an edge to the market by producing our own AG2 15-day weather forecast by skill-weighting and blending global weather models, which includes the new EC-AIFS, as well as our hourly updating in-house GRAF model. GRAF is our own proprietary high-resolution model, which updates hourly out to 72 hours in 30-minute increments, for a variety of weather parameters. Not only can you compare our forecast to the standard 30 year normal, but also both a 10 year normal and last year’s observations, proving a valuable addition owing to our warming World. We release longer range Sub-Seasonal forecasts weekly which look out 5 weeks ahead, and a Seasonal forecast every month which provides insights 4 months ahead. Our forecast data sets are not just weather-based, however, we also convert weather data into more useful quantities, such as wind/solar generation forecasts across Europe or degree days (a proxy for energy demand) and natural gas usage forecasts across the US.
